Default Two live feeds & One capture card - is it possible?

Hello again my VJ friends!

I booked a "UFC" type fight show this weekend and the venue host is looking for me to do interface overlays atop of live feed.

I explained to him that I normally use my video camera to shoot gogo dancers but I'd be happy to tackle his project.

He would like a two camera set up to grab different angels and while there isn't fighting going on he would like instant replays going.

Heres my question:

I use a DC60+ to do my live feed with a 100ft s-video cable hooked up to a handy cam that is usually on a tripod. Is it possible to hook a second camera into the RCA input of my DC60+ and support two live feeds with one capture card? Am I completely out of my element in even thinking that will work?

Im considering renting a second camera for the event if it will as it is a high dollar gig.

As always, I truly appreciate the feedback and responses.

No. And before you ask - USB2 also can't handle the bandwidth of 2x DC60+'s either. So your best bet is to use a vision mixer before running it into the computer.

it feels like any direction i turn i run into a video mixer blocking my way.

Can anyone share their experiences in buying video/vision mixers? Where did you start? where did you end up?

I think its time to up my game and invest into one.

most sports bars will expect HD so make sure you're up front that you're only working in SD, cause a disappointed client is worse than no client.
