Resolume Arena 4.1 released

What exactly is the slice function? Anyone up for a quick explanation? I downloaded the demo and the program is really clean.

You can take a slice/portion of a video to map.

So when mapping a cube you can select a bit of the video to play on the left side and a slice for the right.

For what it's worth - I've just finished a Resolume Avenue 4.1 + Resolume Arena review ...

And included a codec comparison with their DXV codec... against a few others...
