Aestesis Elektronika

So I am an absolute beginner and I just downloaded Aestesis Elektronika live today but I have no idea where to go from there. I have been searching for tutorials online and to my surprise have found no tutorials at all. I have been trying to just get a video to play and can't figure it out. It doesn't let me drag a video onto a play module and the one it did allow shows a length of 0:00.

What am I doing wrong? Any links to tutorials or an explanation would help alot! In the meantime I'll keep fiddling with it till something works.

Very funny but if you actually took a look at the search results instead of being so anxious to rag on a newbie you would see there is no help in the search results. There's just a bunch of links to download it but no real beginning user help. I did end up finding out what was wrong though and I am able to see the videos now. I'm just surprised that with such a common program there are no resources for beginning tutorials :/

It is not an application I am personally familiar with and it is (as far as I can recall) a topic that has not previously arisen on this board. Therefore my response was the best you were likely to get. I would also query your comment "with a such a common program".

p.s. sorry I have a toothache and my mood currently isnt the best

Hi There! I am also fairly new and am using Elektronika. It took me something like 2 weeks, on and off, to figure out how to turn it on and how to start linking modules.
I can now save presets, but cannot save the images yet.
I just built a computer capable of handling more than half the modules, so I am now trying to figure out why my flash videos won't play in it. They do load now, though.
I also discovered there is absolutely no information, it is a do-it-yourself type of thing. Perhaps we can help each other, and put out information for others. What do you think?

I find it amusing that I found this thread in the forum by googling "aestesis elektronika tutorials". I have been in the forum a month and never thought to look for that subject....

I emailed them and was sent to the Facebook page, absolutlely full of technical tips, very valuable, but no step by step how to's. I am currently printing out the Facebook posts, expanded, and going through them for information. Much of the information is also in other languages, so I am going to look for a translation function.

There is also a Google+ page linked to it.

I think I am going to start putting together some kind of manual myself, as I learn the program. There certainly is a need for it

OK, I have been in touch with the developer of the Elektronika program and have permission to write and post a basic manual. The first part is nearly done and I will most likely put it in two places, www.issuu.com, and git hub on the Aestesis Wiki that is already there, if I can.
