yes it is.

midi mapping is to the clip, not the clip slot. this means that it is impossible to map a controller so that it ALWAYS matches the physical layout to the onscreen layout.

I want to midi map the clip slots in the application map and i cannot.
I want to be able to load in whatever media an instantly trigger from midi - i cannot
I want to drag and drop media from one clip slot to another (possibly on a different layer) I do not want to copy the midi mapping,I want the clip slots to be mapped not the clips.

It outputs "/layer3/clip1/connect f (1 or 0)" that's not easy when you make programs and you want to use the plug() command (plug takes all the osc messages that start with a certain text and direct it to a certain function). It would be a lot easier if it was "/connect layer clip f"
