Lightbulb Migration over to Mac - All my Content not playing

Hi Guys,

I finally moved over to mac. Problem is i encoded pretty much everything in The PICVideo M-JPEG Pegasus AVI Format. I have been looking for a codec that will allow me to play these AVI files on my mac but haven't got anywhere. Files just don't play

I have Adobe media encoder on my mac so i wanted to ask if anyone could recommend what format i re-encode the whole lot. I have around 500gb of files. I didn't want to start off a massive batch of conversion without checking first on the best setting.

I want to preserve the quality but obviously make sure the format isn't heavy on cpu. Ideally match the quality and video stream identically

I have a 2GHZ Intel Core i7 with 16gb 23333 Mhz DDR3 Ram.

Thanks in advance, PS i have a gig tomorrow night lol and kinda stressin

Edit: Typo

NOT the Animation codec. I is not for playback.
PhotoJPG at 75% is what most VJ type apps like the best.
