We are a group of third year film students at Curtin University and are currently in preproduction of our final documentary piece. We've decided to create an event aimed at the Deaf and hearing-impared young adult community and what is involves is creating unique night out where all your senses are stimulated, and music can be experienced through sight, smell, touch and taste.

The event has been named Deaf.in.i.tion and it is inspired by an event that has been hosted overseas called Sencity.

We are currently searching for someone who can provide us with a VJing service. This is one of the most crucial gigs of the night, others including DJs, aroma jockeys, dancers and hairdresser. If you wish to collaborate with the DJs, we need to know as soon as possible.

Being students, it is a non-profit and any minimal budget is being raised through fundraising, although it does provide a great opportunity for some experience if you are just entering the industry.

The event is being held on the 22nd of May, with an estimated 150 in attendance. A screen and projector will be provided and as the entire night will be filmed, the VJ will be welcome to any footage of their gig.
