I'm not too familiar with the building steve, only reason I said the national gallery was its an established art exhibition space and has enough room in front for a large public gathering to view the show without causing any major hassles.

Happy to hear other suggestions, maybe a vote of the best space, the national gallery just seemed like a great place to put of a public event not just a promoters gathering.

The art Gallery would be superb but a logistical nightmare

I think with the right timescale, and talking to the right partners and sponsors, the NI is achievable, and with content being created by the community makes even a massive space possible. I'd be happy to talk to people like Barco, Electrosonic, etc about creating the background infrastructure
