Default Cell DNA & Windows 7 & Video Input

i am having an issues with windows 7 home premium 64 bit and Cell DNA.

i can't pull in video form my web cam, i know the web cam works becuse it pulls up in my messaging program.. but not in Cell DNA

when i go to the pref settings , it give me options for the digitizer but not for the input ??? i tried installing winvdig thinking that it might be missing the digitizer but that doesn't help the matter .

any ideas ???

i haven't tried updating the drivers yet... maybe that should be my next step.

Exclamation any tips? or solution..

iv been working on vj mute in the start in order to understand the basis of video mixing .. and then learnt a little on resolume ... now as a starter i find Cell DNA pretty easy to understand and had been working on it for more than a month now... i had been using windows XP and everything seemed to be working f9.. this weekend i upgraded the laptop to win7 and since then im facing some brain stomping problems... the problem is tht i have installed dna again and the software opens but it shows a chekered display on the main output and on the application itself while the standby or the view window of the clip seems to be ok... tht means i cant see the visual or any output except the checkered screen appearing ... the config i have to the laptop is ..

2 Gb of ram
2.1 core 2 due.
Gforce 7600 graphic card which is sharing 256 .. previously was sharing 512 befor i could install windows seven..

ill be going home from work and will try sharing around 512 with the graphic card hope it works..

Please share ..............

BoooM !!
