Default Are these clip dimensions practical for VJing?

Hi guys new to the game, I downloaded about 100 free vj loops from Analog Recycling, but they are all in 384x288 size. Is this okay to use for projection in a small one room club? Or will it look like shite?

If its okay, when using such low resolution, should I scale it in the software (such as resolume) before outputting to the projector, or output it at such a small size and let the projector naturally "scale" the image?

Thanks a lot!

Any content should be played it is original size and not scaled up... Scaling down isn't an issue but the more you blow it up the worst it will be...btw this is also true for jpgs and other images that are not vector.

But u still most vjs now a days use larger formates 720x480 and up! You should try to make sure all of your clips are set to the same resolution and not have mismatched file resolutions...

Personally I would say leave as is and let the software scale them up... You resizing the clips to a larger scale will not improve quality but will only hurt it and make the file bigger .... So it would be a loose loose situation if you did resize them manually.

Hope this helps
