Default Edirol V4 Picture in Picture Feedback FX

Or in other words, I'm still faffing around with the V4 and here is a quick picture in picture feedback effect (ever get the impression I'm repeating myself?)
and how it looks with minimal, black and white loops:
Feedback, as ever always welcome

seen it on vimeo already, i love it! using the PinP never occured to me, I always preferred my AVE5 for feedback and glitching.

pips are cool for feedback...
try setting up a preset with a range of alternate pip positions - this lets you jump about and make the delay shoot off in different directions.

also don't forget about wipes - with feedback wipes are actually useful - the 4 way slide negative / colorised feedback wipe is one of my favourites

Total agreement Tom, the second vid has a brief switch to pip7 to give an upwards motion effect. The same varied settings on the V8 gives a better variation as you can cycle through them all via Pip* on the one memory bank, also the shake is more fun as it's based on circular motion rather than pixel jumping (on v4). Allthough I'm still saving for that toy at the moment
