Dual Head to go Scan Converter only option?

Hey all,
Long time no speak. I've been busily creating things and have recently picked up a dual head to go (digital edition) after said fried had problems with it running her cintique.

Heres what i want to do: I want to hook this dual head to either my mac book pro via dvi-i OR
my pc from dvi
to 2 separate projectors via s video (basically because i have a shit tone of s video and its super cheap to run 75 ft of that as opposed to vga cabling.
Part of me is thinking of running some intelix from vga to cat 5 and back but i think that might be over kill and like i said i have several bundles of s video i got super cheap.

Now I'm pretty sure for this i will need 2 separate scan converter boxes each coming out of either output port on the dual head to go. Is this true? Is this my only option?

Fun fact: i have a MAC dvi to svideo and when hooked up the dual head sees it, however still gives me nothing on the projector end. Im assuming thats a scan conversion problem as well eh?


So what are my options? What do you kids think?
Ive never actually used a scan converter, how much is too much to pay? Like i said ill need 2 of em. Probably
