Video Capture/Edit Station

I'm just about to order the last pieces of kit for 2 edit stations. I have the PC, PC Monitors and DVD/VHS players. All that is left is the ADVC, Studio Monitor and MiniDV/DVCAM/HDV deck.

Just wondering if anyone would do this differently?

I want it to work as a standalone VHS-DVD transfer station for those less technically minded. Then by switching the inputs on the monitor you can preview what goes to and from the ADVC and MiniDV/DVCAM/HDV deck.

I will one have one MiniDV/DVCAM/HDV deck so can't use that as the sole interface on both stations e.g act as the ADVC, hence the dashed lines.

I'll also use S-Vid into the ADVC.
