Hey guys,

Thanks a lot, that really clarifies it for me. I'll stick to VGA and get a quality scan convertor and give the analog signals a shot for collaborating with people who use videos mixers.

I really appreciate this expert advice.

VGA is confusing - how it's defined as both digital and analog depending on what you read. Anyway... the research continues.

Are these compatible with Mac? My old scan converter turns out to only work on PC. I tested it last night. Since my PC got stolen and I switched to Mac, I am shit outta luck.

I should have bought one of these two weeks ago when you posted this response. Gah....

I regularly send HD resolutions over 'VGA' cable (RGBHV) and breakout to BNC connectors.
