Default Sorenson Squeeze v5

Does anyone know where I can find some information about the above. The website isn't great since they have updated it for the release of v6. I want to know the full compatibility e.g. all input file types and output file types (esp AVCHD .mts and Flash .swf .flv).

Have found third party info and have raised a support ticket, but being impatient!

Annoying as only just received this version and the new one looks like one slick son of a....

Love the sound of 360 on v6 too. Set to transcode and go home. Receive text when complete and can auto publish after reviewing on iPhone. Yummy!

I'm still working off of 4.5.
Still good for my needs.

I'm pleased someone started a codec related thread. I'm trying to encode from an IV50 clip (on PC) into anything at all usable. I'm aware that the codec since changing hands from Intel has become a pay product, but found this interesting piece ...

Ligos Technology still honour previous licensing arrangements of the technology so all you have to do is find a company who will let you download under one of these previous licenses!
Downloading this though (16bit installer) did not work, so I headed to free-codecs and found the 32 bit version here.

I've installed it, rebooted and still VLC will not play the thing and Vegas just says no. TMPGEnc will not load the thing for conversion to PAL mpeg.. I have a feeling that more googling would result in a method, but as usual I'm working on two different things at the same time.

Any help greatly received.

Looks like you will have to pay: http://ligos.com/index.php/home/products/indeo/

XP only.

Still no news from Sorenson, but hey they're in the states so factor time difference and all that. I'm just surprised that they don't have a feature comparison for all previous versions to lure you into buying the latest version. Maybe this is the crux of it! v6 looks nicer and that's the main difference?
