VGA to composite converter

Hi guys

I think this has been covered before but would I be right in saying that this wouldnt work due to the lack of power?

I normally use a PC to Video EZ which has USB power on it but a friend is away with it and I need a cheap solution by Saturday. It not the end of the world but it means I have to turn up super early at a venue to set up VGA cables to the house projector rather than just plug straight into the sound booth
