Default Rechargable Batteries

Anyone know of a good brand of rechargeable batteries?. I just purchased a LCD field monitor and the sucker takes 12 AA batteries and only lasts 2.5 hours. I assume duracell and energizer - just would love to hear your comments.

Thanks in advance
Sean

Rechargeable batteries last for less time than disposable duracell

AA are not really designed for high current usage - normally monitors which run off batteries take VLock or AB Gold mount camera batteries.

All batteries are measured in AmpHours - the more amphours you have the longer they will last.

I would say the Sanyo Eneloop. They don't have a very high capacity only 2100mAh were others rechargeable's have 2400+, but they can handle high currents very good.

Problem with rechargeable battery's is that they have a output voltage of 1.2 Volt instead of 1.5V. witch in some devices is causing it to give a low battery indication while the rechargeable's still have a lot of capacity left.
