Was anyone @ the 02 academy to see Vitalic last night? What did you think of the visuals?
They used strobe from start to finish, bloddy awful!!!! good gig tho

Did they have their own LED panels with them?
I did live camera directing/mixing at reading and they closed our stage - I liked their work

No, they were using the in-house screen...I've seen footage of the LED panels, they look really cool. Was looking forward to seeing them in person....

yeah they were good at leeds - had a load of stealth screen with a mirror foil surface in front of it giving a really nice effect (like a mirror when the screen was off - like a screen when it was on
)

was fun to watch the lampies haviing to sweat a bit to lift the rear truss to get them on stage as the lighting rig was a wee bit low for the screens to get clearance and 3 of the stealth panels were out which spolit it slightly but that apart I liked what they were doing and the medium they were projecting via
