hi there,
i have a retro videonics mx pro vision mixer (guess its about 10yrs old), it seems to be working in that i can input DVD players and get a in/out signal no probs. i'm just using some philips lcd screens for preview & output (they're intended for use as a second screen with a portable dvd player) but when i hook up my MacBook Pro up i just get fuzzy lines. i'm using the adapter that comes with the MBpro and have a converter that has a video RCA out and a S-video out. i've tried both and i still get fuzzy lines. should i be using a certain frequency/resolution (i have tried all the options under display prefs), do i need to tell the mac to do something when outputting the video signal, are there some keyboard shortcuts i need to press to correct the signal, will the mx pro actually support my MBpro...if u have the answer u would rock my world! thx in advance! atomic |

have you checked your outputting in the right format- PAL/NTSC?
When I first outputted from my MBP, under XP with the dongle, it was all fuzzy like that, but then I realised it was outputting as NTSC and not PAL... I also had to tell it I was outputting to a TV (really a projector) and not another monitor.
