I made this the other night! trying out some effects while feedbacking. check it out. it's two black and white feedback video streams, inverted, and then ionverse lumakey'd overthemselves.. created this bizare neon, fractal pattern! http://www.stage6.com/user/VJSchmidt...-Neon-FeedBack sorry it's on stage6 and no direct link, but there's a decent 1m30s there, and this effect looks great on all video clips. negative channel a and inverse key the same image back over it with channel b

i like it.
try putting a delay into the loop to slow things down a bit. |

ya.... Think I'm gonna edit out the white frames, where i hit a transform button on mixer to send a white pulse down fractal pattern,
and then re-render at half speed or 1/5 th speed

...that might work, too. but it isn't what i meant:
try adding a delay into the loop while creating the feedback. i.e. into the feedback loop itself. not delaying in postproduction. |

nice feedback. slowing it down might produce interesting effects.

shame you can't get the decay thing going.
try using a constant source as a seed instead of a flash. I find a bit of dental floss works well |

wicked dude, nice one. the bit where you manage to hold the blob in the screen for a bit is amazing, around 35 seconds in.
