Hi guys,
I have been playing with 8 round screens for about 3 weeks now and I am amazed at the new things you discover. I am using 4 projectors and the screens are round plexiglass about 90 cm diameter. I am using 2 round masks for each projector, so 8 screens for 4 projectors. The cool thing is you can fit a spining disco ball spinning on itself like a 3D effect or speakers pumping to the beat. Here are a few pics.

It looks great. Getting the projections outside of the traditional 4:3 screen is definitely the way forward. If only it was always possible!

I will put a video on wed when i go to work so you see it in action. Defektv, The plexiglass is white, good for rear projection, meaning you can see the shadow of your hand on the other side when you go and buy it. It cost about 25 euros for each circle. Actually its not real plexiglass but cheap porcelana (porcelain) plastic like they call it in Spain.

Nice one Solly, I regularly use one or 2 round screens I build myself and love working with them, especially as you say with nice round content like speakers and disco balls. I also use them as part of the setup in the electro band I play in called Lunar Module, with the whole space/lunar theme of the visuals its works well for planets, moon phase animations, etc. Good stuff
