Getting ready for first gig

i've been invited to do some projections at 'Spirit and Soul' -Contact (peterborough) on may 11th.
its just me really projecting some of my experimental vids around the venue and theres the possibility of me doing some VJing! woo. anyway, i don't really know what music will be performed (well, its experimental type stuff) so i can't really make clips specifically for the music.
I've got some clips from archive.org and some clips of my own, but should i do some edits of the clips from archive to make them more suitable?

Any tips/suggestions?
