OK,
I'm an old user of MS Visual Studio 6. Microsoft have now updated their DirectX SDK and stopped supporting anything earlier than VS.NET. So, I've upgraded to VS.NET 2003, and downloaded the Feb 2005 DXSDK Right now I need to compile BaseClasses.vcproj to get a new and useful strmbase.lib I'm getting a linker error when trying to link strmiids.lib Unfortunatly the relevent MSDN DXSDK information has not been updated since DX9.0c (first release so I've got no help). Any help would be appreciated. I'm re-installing the SDK and then going to try again. Will post compler messages in a bit. Alan |

OK, sorted, was an issue of mixing DXSDK Dec 04 and DXSDK Feb 05
Will be asking more questions in a few days time I think... thanks for being willing to help. Was just my silly mistake. |
