Does anyone know what the current VJ market share is in dollars?

Also, what about past few years, and projected market share $?

share of which market? total market value against gdp or something else? Sorry, I don't think anyone will have an answer for you but the question is currently too vague, and I'm not sure what you are looking for..

we could add up - all the VJ fees paid, the money spent on equipment, software and video effects by VJs and come up with a market value, which could then be made into a market share of total gdp/gnp of a country or gdp of the world.. or we could look at one of the markets, say the music industry and see how much of that market is taken in fees by vjs .. there are many different ways ..

Yes, it seems pretty hard to get any type of figure out of the VJ market.

Ideally I would like to get a figure of the profits from hardware and software companies made from VJ products. Of course there is also the fees all the VJs made.

I was hoping to get an estimate of total gross profit from the VJ market out of the year 2004, and if anyone would know at what percentage it's growing.

I think it is unlikely you will get that because companies who produce things for the VJ Market produce too many other products.. I spose that companies like Edirol and Korg might well be publicly listed so you could dig around and find out what they are earning but otherwise it's just a guessing game - like the rest of economics.
