Default anaglyph

hey peeps, i'm doin a gig next month with a 3D theme, and they will be giving out 3D glasses so i'm trying to get together a few anaglyph clips.

So if anyone knows of any good sources please let me know.

Mmm, spykids ?

No seriously, anaglyph content is rare, and quality content is even more.. You could think about producing your own, its not that difficult with any 3D software, and documentation is available.

Also, you could also look at the polarized projection system, which avoids color problems and headaches after 5 minutes

Id be interested to hear about anaglyph content sources anyway.. Any ideas ?

I'm interested to hear more about this as well. Haven't had the pleasure working on something like this. Anyone has any experience?

I did a 3D show 20 years ago.
we hired in lots of 16mm movies. there were plenty made in the 50s
also I remember there being an anaglyph 3D plug in for after effects..??

you could always shoot your own stuff.

Anaglyph is great fun.
I just did my second Old skool 3d Rave up in Sheffield the other week.
I created my own patch with Edo to do it, works in realtime with live camera or clips.
It should be easily acheivable with any node based software.
There is a Quartz Composer application freely available and there is also a comercial anaglyph freeframe plugin.

I will sell you some content if you want, pm me.

I'm interested too.
What do you mean with 20/20 vision? The angle of the people and the screen?

Actually, it's more the vision balance between left and right eyes which is important: someone with 9 on each eye, will see the stereoscopy better that someone with 8 and 10.
People with a 'lazy eye' wont feel the depth so well.
