Is this for VJ's or for Pokemon visual artists?

As a new member, I seem to be confused. I remix mainstream music video to dance, tribal house for a video bar... which relies on Videonics mixers, Raine mixers and VHS/DVD as the MEDIUM for mixing. No turntables... unless I'm the editing room -- assembling the video frame by frame (the next songs get beatmixed like vinyl when I'm in the booth). No I don't "rip" original music from MTV. I use paid subscriber services which require ASCAP/.BMI/SESAC.

But after reading profiles, and visiting the chat room I feel like the ONLY people who belong here are the ones who do graphics for Atari, Pokemon, or assisted Disney with editing cleanup. Or people put graphics to soft rock or wind chimes. I didn't spend $6.00 at Radio Shack to become a Video Jockey/Vee Jay.. I have had 4 people in chat say in so many words "oh, your the new type of people." ???? Tell me what is a Video Jockey?
Is this site for clip artists, graphics, ambiant background producers only?
