Question Batch conversion

i have many uncompressed 720x576 clips that i would like to convert into 400x300 with an indeo 5.1 codec. or even just to batch convert them to 400x300 resolution.

what program could do this for me where i just load up all the clips i want to convert and just let em run instead of having to resize every single one.

could Vdub do this? or would i need a bigger program?

any thoughts would be great!

Thanks

Well if you're on Mac Id recommend compressor or Mpeg Stream clip, but I'm sure theres heaps more convertors out there.

Does anyone know of a way to view which codec & size a clip is without opening it, and ideally as a list of all the files in a folder so i know which files need re-encoding or resizing?
Using OSX

'Get Info' on the file (Apple i). It's in the More Info section.

If you're using Compressor, just batch-convert all of them.
