Various Software setup....

Hi,

New to the forum so please allow my lack of knowledge, haha.

Anyway.

I am looking to set up a VJ setup for a company that I am highly involved with, mainly running events for Under 18's throughout the UK.

I'm looking at running 3 possibly 4 laptops, each with different software on them to display different images on the big screens we use.

Laptop 1 - Running R4 Winamp plugin which runs basically like sound to light. The image morphs and rotates depending on the music beat.

Laptop 2 - Running Screenfly, a photo gallery, message announcer, advertising program. Shows whatever I add from the inbox, also allows bluetooth devices to send pictures but not video.

Laptop 3 - Was looking to run some kind of "texting" software. Allowing patrons to the event a chance to send messages to the big screen, song requests to the DJ and so on and so forth.

Laptop 4 - Running DMX software so that I am able to control the lighting desks from one interface rather than having to swap between 3 lighting desks, it would just be 3 different programs on 1 laptop.

The problem is that I am unable to find anyone that has used any such texting software in an install. Has anyone here used any such software, is it any good, whats it called and how much is it?

If anyone can suggest any "texting" software then please step into the light, you might just save my day.
