freeframe tutorials

can anyone point me in the direction of tutorials for getting started with writing / building freeframe plugins?
I have downloaded freeframe sdk and isadora sdk

do you know C already? or any other programing languages? if not a C tutorial will help out. but i dont think there are any freeframe specific tutorials out there. pete warden has the source code of all his effects here and the freeframe specification is here .

having said all that i havent actualy compiled any freeframe effects, but im hopeing to sometime over then next few weeks.

hopefuly some other people can shed some light on this.

here are some hints and a template project for the free dev-cpp compiler: FreeFrame at MESO

never tried it, but it seems that you just have to put in your graphics code somewhere and press compile.

the SDK has a plugin wizard which should compile you a blank plugin - all you need to do is add some code to do the processing you want.

i have been trying to compile the demo plugin given with isadora sdk - and getting errors
i'll try a blank one !

There's one for XCode on the Mac and one for MSVC on windows.

They come with tutorials.
