But really, I can't imagine using resolume without Syphon.
I do my special fx in vdmx, animate pngs in M8, trigger clips...

VDMX syphon screen streaming
maybe I heard wrong but I thought you could screen capture via syphon from non syphon apps in VDMX.
can't seem to find out how though. Am I mistaken?

yeah, I had the 'electrician' wire in 5x 32amp C-Forms only to find that 3 out of 5 were wired wrong and the earth that was supposed to connect to the earth on the OB truck actually went into a spike...

small ones are cheaper and will get around the problems you'll have with depth of field focussing and probably shadows, which you seem to have forgotten...
