I have a nvidia geforce mx 200 and work with resolume

now the problem is that I can get the twin view kloon mode with no problems

but resolume sees only 1 monitor

I tried adding a extra monitor into win2000 but I can't get this started because I don't have the choice even to do so... in win98 I have this option and the problem is solved

but I want to run under win2000

I tried the latest drivers etc. but nothing seems to work

plz help

i got g2 mx400 (1monitor out, 1coposite out) on win2k...

to activate <composite out> you have to have an ACTIVE hardware connected to the <composite out> (like vcr, tv, etc...) and then go to desktop properties (press right mouse button on desktop). go to tab "settings" and press [advanced...] select tab "nView" and select "clone" mode. i think the rest you can figure out.

I think you don`t want to use the second output in clone mode (show the Resolume interface on projector? ;) ), but use it as real second output.

I dunno if your card supports this, but I think mine (GF 2 ti) doesn`t do so.

I also do have this nview (after i installed it), but it only shows up one device...

As far as I know the Nvidia cards support only clone mode (my Tnt2 does so, too).
But you can add an old cheap 2nd graphic card and use this for displaying the interface.

Windows 2000 is extrodinarily quirky regarding 2nd monitor, and aside from use with, say, Avid or Maya (things which pretty much rely on 2000 for whatever reasons), not generally a good platform for VJing @ all... I recommend dual-booting Windows 2000 and XP Pro.

some problems with the 2nd card can be solved if you change some bios settings.
for example as it was on my system:

you have a PCI and a AGP-card and everything works fine under Win98 but as you start using Win2000 this stupid Windows-version won?t accept the second graphiccard.

Solve it like this:

Change in the Bios settings your Main graphicscard from AGP to PCI and Win2000 will accept it and you can use dualmonitor.
(and Reolume works fine also)

cheers!
