Hey everyone,
The time has come to ditch the tower and buy the laptop. Biggest concern is (of course) the video card on board. I've had much more luck with ATI than Nvidia, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the following machines:
1. Dell 8200 (with new Radeon 9000m) here (http://www.dell.com/us/en/biz/products/model_inspn_inspn_8200.htm)
2. ProStar 8874 (with Radeon 7500 I think) here (http://www.pro-star.com/index.cfm?mainpage=productdetail&model=8874)
3. Alienware Area-51m (again with Radeon 9000m) here (http://www.alienware.com/main/system_pages/area51-m.asp)
4. Toshiba 5205-s704 (with Gforce4 460 + DVD burner) here (http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/pc/pc_prodDetail.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0668815884.1036 176358@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccgadcgifjeljicgfkceghdgngdgll.0&comm=ST&plin=Portables&pfam=Satellite&poid=238487&Adoid=140598)
Has anyone heard anything bad/good about these configurations? I feel the 9000 is the way to go, but hmmmm . . .
