Image movement to movie?

hey!

I'm trying to create a movie which has some text (in image form) flying around the screen. Is there any easy way of getting an image to move around like this without having to make each frame of the movie individually?

there are lots of software tools which will let you do this kind of thing. One of the most widely used would be Adobe Premier, then a little more advanced would be Adobe After Effects. You'll probably be able to find some smaller lesser known software to do it too, maybe something came with whatever capture card you're using?

You could also do it in realtime with Vjo :D :D

RC FUSE (http://www.vjcentral.com/software/show/1921) also has realtime, audio-reactive effects that sounds like what you are describing. It takes a graphic or movie file and dances dozens of them across the screen.

yeah do it realtime and MAYBE just maybe you get to do it on the beat!! YEAH! go pro : use Premiere/Flash or After Effects.

there are also many 3D editors / renderers out there as well. most of these have fairly straightforward ways to manipulate and move text. 3DStudio Max, Lightwave, Maya, Truespace and others will produce really pro results without too much hassle.

I use premire, after effects, and flash to move text all the time its really easy to use and control.
