it would be cool to syndicate the news on vjcentral and be able to display it on our own websites.

Yeah article titles and top 10 thread title syndication would be cool, and get even more hits on VJC rolling in :)

Yup. Would be good to cross-pollinate these discussions wider with syndication. Hey, more of us offliners might hear about events before the submission deadlines!
Not sure who runs this board but if you need help planning a syndication service, happy to oblige. It's part of my day job. .M.

Looks like vBulletin already has built in support for RSS.
http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/vboptions_group_external
However, RSS support may only be present in a more recent version. (3.0.7)

rss and javascript syndication is turned on - live bookmarks are working for firefox click the http://homepage.ntu.edu.tw/~b92b01024/livebookmark.jpg icon at the end of your address bar (bottom right of browser for old versions)
the rss feed actually lives at http://vjforums.com/external.php?type=rss
the javascript feed is at http://vjforums.com/external.php?type=js
hope this helps...

be awair that the current RSS feed only gives newposts - not active threads - we're currently working to get this sorted out with a proper load of options so you can read the whole of active threads from an RSS reader (eg thunderbird)
