Well, I almost can?t wait this project becomes a reality and put my hands on a SixPack of his video mixer, I only hope this is not an illusion and by the way, I still have some interesting ideas to contribute.

Hi all,
well i have had some big health problems. RSI mainly and we had to delay the work on our mixer. We are going to start again next month. As Silk pointed out, the electronics for the midi controlling are finished. A friend of mine is programming the user interface and the main lcd screen. Don't get me wrong, you do not need a pc (or Mac) for this. The device has got it's own microProcessor and we need to write the software to controll the lcd panel and allow user to change settings.
By the way. Silk has just bought his first mixer (Mx30) and i think he is in love... :D
Greetings,
per-i

glad to hear this project is still going! can't wait to see the results..my hope is that this mixer blows everything else away(which sounds like it will) and makes the other mixer companys shake their heads and say "shit, why didn't we do that?"
now Dave, whats this job in Texas where you can do whatever you want?
LOL
I envision sitting on a porch on a ranch, horses skipping about, sipping lemonade with a laptop-in-the-lap rendering video, smoking a cigarette...doing whatever I want...heh heh

Hi all!
Yes i am still alive. I temporary moved into a new house and when everything goes OK i will be able to move into my new house in januari. Found me a new girlfriend :D and things are going the right way at the moment. I quited my daytime job and hae been living from vj-ing and dj-ing for the last few months. The mixer project has been delayed a bit because of time and money issues. I done some other projects (midi controllers) for some other people to earn some extra cash.
For James! The desing on paper is still finished (mixer part, audio part, not the bmp part). But haven't had the time/money to build one :(
There is no fast internet connection where i am living at the moment so i don't go online very often. Me and my friends have become the "resident" vj's en deco builders for one of the largest organisations here in the Netherlands. It is called UDC and we just finished the talks about it.
I will try to update more info and sooner!
Gr,
per-i
