i take it a projector can be connected to a PC via a DV port in a graphics card?!.. the plan is to have 2 projectors with one splitter cable (if they exits) that goes into the DV port on my comp and my monitor (to preview the output) in the normal montior port!...

sound like a viable plan?

you dont need a 'spliter' cable from the DVI plug, there are plugs that go on the DVI plug on the computer that change it to a VGA plug, which is what your monitor takes.

if you need it to be a RCA or Svideo, your card should have this little round black plug which a splitter cable will plug into and give you RCA and S-video out.

though the options depend on your videocard.

the 'splitter' wouldn't be to connect the projector to the pc it so i can split the signal across two projectors from one source.. if u get what i mean?!.. not sure how esle it is done. Ive heard theres little switch boxes that do it
