Let's face it...
Even Superman has to be Clark Kent some of the time...
After all, no one pays Superman to save the world...
How do you pay the bills?

well my day job couldn't be more different!
by night i'm a vj, but by day i'm a Coffee Consultant, travelling the world solving problems in espresso bar concepts :)
(although i have managed to get the contract to supply a chain with their music playlist and dvd's for the shops...)
so let me know if anyone needs help in their local coffee bar ;)

I work as a multimedia consultant for the entertainment industry and as a CG content producer but I also am a "house-husband" like Amukidi (I didn't know that word - thanks !). I rarely do live gigs anymore - I did the visuals for Lee Burridge and Richie Hawtin last week-end and it had been my first live show in months.

How 'bout sewing machine repair? Could that be any more different!? I've been in that racket for 12 years, but it certainly isn't what I get up for in the morning (though it comes in handy when making large spandex screens!).
Sewing machine operation and techinque anyone??

I drifted from unemployment to music(electronic knob twiddling variety) via chocolate factory quility controller (yummy :) ) to student to unemployment to VJ and increasingly recently into technology.
I pick up occaisional work fixing computers and occaisionally land jobs to fit wireless networks to peoples homes and trendy bars. it is more fun than i would have imagined. fiddling around on the hardware side is much like playing with lego, an obsession that consumed me as a child. plus wireless and remote desktop means i can sit in the bar with tapas, quesidillas (?) and a beer on the house and munch whilst i fiddle and configure to my hearts content.
if i had anything resembling an ambition at the moment it would be to plumb a wireless hotspot in for the dalai lama upon his return to tibet.
or have a base on the moon, a giant death ray, use it often and mercilessly, and to rule you all with an iron fist. mwah-hah-haaaa!!!

multimedia designer working mainly with e-learning and CBT in flash. Everyday my clip library grows bigger and bigger and I'm slowly but surely saving for the ever-so-needed beamer and v-4. So hopefully I'll be casting my vote as full-time VJ soon.
