what will hapend wen most of us have this (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=13266) kind of connections

100Mbit/sec

up and down

i mean , with this speed we can upload about 20 video streams of a divx movie , at home

not to talk about music streaming , that will reach cd quality easyly

is this going to be the online tv boom or what ?

the tv as a "push" media may become reduntant, everything will be interactive/ two ways, which is against the princip of watching telly....
But:
does anybody have experiende with live streaming of video signals. Imagine the VJ and the DJ will be in a different place, but still play together....

It'll be great - no more dvds. All of your content and clips will be online, accessible instantly and you'll be able to interact and VJ between venues which are thousands of miles apart. Bring on Internet 2!

I already have a USE :)
Getting ready for the earthdance (http://www.earthdance.org) this year in september. They already have 100+ individual location streams simultaneously across the internet.
Shortly I'll be helping out with a VJ collaboration and I was wondering how good it would be if VJ's across the world could be feeding off each others mix/live feed simultaneously. Or even to have a massive feedback experiment such as the one in the UK this month. Unfortunately most earthdances are outdoors and are bottlenecked by wireless radio broadband. Hmmm...

we will have , 1 dj and 1 vj team , for 10 partys ...

or , 10 vjs , 10 djs , diferent locations ( like at home ) for 1 party

there is already lots of dj live streams web pages

like this one http://www.afterhoursdjs.org

i wonder if anyone made real partys out of its feed ...

about copy rights , im going to use djs cose its more easy to imagine

for godly very expencive djs like john digweed , if 10 producers could share the bill , no one would really seem him live , only on screens and PA sound of course ... using pay pal , this would make low cash producers to have godly djs playing at the partys ... would bring people and give oportunity to non famous djs take adavantage of larger crouds

this sounds like sci fi , but hey , this is the future forum
