Rei, I dont know to what level of branding you had planed for this event but throwing up a sponsors logo is nothing new. Any marketing team with half a brain cell is going to ask "hey could we put our name on those super cool screens?"
It sounds like the guys who f-ed you are gonna get it in the end. Serves em right. Good lesson to learn and you really are out only your time and breath...
I hope you find something cool to work on this NYE and I hope its with some cool people.
Im just glad Im on salary and dont have to worry about this kinda bull crap. (at least on the VJ side of things...)
