getting back to normal... started to experiment with PD&co again... this is what came out today -> zoomable video player (inspired by morph)... it plays a video in loop and with the mouse you can select an area in the video where to zoom... thinking on making this a little bigger project, so please send any wishes/ideas/bugs to huolong@vju-tv.net... heres all you need [1.73mb] http://www.vju-tv.net/vide-o-matic_001-test.zip (unzip and read "readme_1st.txt")... zap.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Is it reminiscent of that REM video?

Can't wait to download it.:D

do you mean the video where theres only 1scene and then zoomed to different points in the film? no, it doesnt have nothing to do with it, but its a very interesting video... actually the name (in my prog, vide-o-matic) comes from cartoons (blahblah-o-matic) :)

hi people,

i finally tested GrIPD (http://mambo.peabody.jhu.edu/~jsarlo/gripd/) and was amazed how editable and fast it's to use (and looks good too)... so now i can finish my project faster than i dreamed and here's a first beta screenshot of a running test...

http://www.vju-tv.net/vide-o-matic_010_preview.jpg

has only the basic controls yet because i wan't to ask YOU what would you like to control on video... i'm not gonna use any FX or video layering. just simple (advanced) video playback. so, please send any ideas to huolong@gmx.net
and stay tuned 4 a first beta

cheers
