vj without footage?

interesting question, weve got a guy coming round this evening who wants to hire a vj to mix supplied material on already set up kit
how do we work out what to charge him?

if he whants you ?100+
for the fact thet you play for 8 hours and the dj plays for two-per set even the most un-experianced dj will get ?25 so sureley thats got to be the min for the time spent lerning the craft
it's like the minuman wage :p

that reminds me,

I know a guy in Montreal, he's really super good at creating visuals, probably the best VJ in his area, but he's not so much of a night person...

He told me he just started hiring this young VJ to mix his content in clubs for him...

My friend's still getting call for bookings, he's just sending a runner to "operate" his visuals :D
