Advice on a thesis..On the topic of Vjing

Hello, I'm currently trying to think of a topic for my thesis (i'm doing a masters in Mutimedia), and I'm contemplating the topic of visuals within the electronic music scene and the whole concept of Vj'ing.

Has anyone seen any similar academic work on this topic? I would need to find other material written by 'respected' sources to compare my proposal to, in order to make the thesis work...Essentially I would need to find a conflicting point of view to my core topic, so i could establish how the paradigm of music and video has changed in the digital age....

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
