i have been using vdmx for a bit now. i have been noticing a slow down when loading my clips. i pretty much run everything through cleaner 5, export as 320x240 quicktime w/sorenson. i figure that it takes a lot of cpu to decompress the files etc. what do people recommend as the best codec to use? i have heard photo jpeg or non-interlaced motion jpeg A.

sorenson requires alot of compression which bogs down the cpu. i use 320X240 animation codec. you can't really go over 8 secs each clip.

read the manual, or do a search for vdmx and codec on these forums.
photo-jpeg at 80% is the answer... high quality, low filesize, low cpu overhead.
