Hammer horror flicks are classic, although very recognisable.
Sleepy Hollow & Nightmare before Christmas
From what I've seen of Ed Woods films they can be used to lighten up the set if thats what you want.
Otherwise, there's an infinite amount of horror b-movies to be used.

 i would definatly go to this party!!!!
very good choice
in austria we are not celebrating halloween that much (but it became bigger over last 3 years)
my choice:
1. ORGY OF THE DEAD (Screenplay Ed WOOD)
2. INVADERS FROM MARS
3. 1. April 2000 (Austrian Kult Sci-Fi Horror Movie from '62)
4. Versus
5. Ringu 0+1+2 (only the sadako scenes)
6. Kairo (aka the circuit)
7. Seance
8. the haunting (old version)
9. dracula (kinski-version and murnau-version)
10. the lost boys :-)
i tried to avoid krezrock's films, because they would be nearly the same top10 as mine....
