there have been a couple of diffrent ARTE shows on VJing / av performance. The last one i'm awair of was "Tracks" which interviewed Hexstatic , Eclectic Method, and some bunch of jokers called the VJamm Allstars...

allthough having looked at the website ( arte.fr or .de depending on which laguage you prefer) there seems to be another show comming up on the 3rd of november http://www.arte-tv.com/fr/search__results/650364.html
