Hi gang,
Saw The Faint in concert last night in Boston. They have a great 2 screen video show synced to their music. I highly reccomend checking it out. Very, very cool.
The videos had a "high-tech meets punk" vibe...similar at times to that Shynola video for The Rapture where it looks like animated punk rock flyers...go check them out if you get the chance!!!

Woah...they did the whole thing? I knew they did the vid for "Agenda Suicide." My company had been talking with those guys about doing vids for some of our Playstation games...Makes sense they were behind it...it was awesome.

The faint once came to the club I work. They
operate their visuals from the stage. The show was well
rehearsed and the visuals matched the music exactly. At some
point non-live footage from the drummer was projected, but the
drumsticks matched the visuals nearly perfectly. It got me
thinking about the notion of liveness of this performance.
Obviously the band played live music, but to me liveness is more than that. Because the band had to follow the imagery, there was hardly any time for improvisation. And so there was none, not even talking in between songs.
Nice to see a band interested in visuals so much, hough.
