Is anyone interested in helping out with a free night called 'Offline' at the DogStar in Brixton?
I am helping to set up a multimedia room for a Brixton based website called www.urban75.com
They are looking for visual art, short films, installations and VJ's etc. there will also be some performance art and speakers going on in the room as well as some laptop noodling. So if any of you want to try out some Audio Visual sets this could also be the perfect place for you.
Let me know if you are interested.

The theme of this room will be chill-out so will require nonhectic but engaging visuals.

urban75.com presents another OFFLINE Brixton Extravaganza!
Thursday, 11th November, 9-2am. Admission FREE! The Dogstar, Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, London SW9
Two floors and three rooms of FREE live music/DJ/cabaret entertainment in the heart of Brixton!
After the runaway success of October's Offline, we've now added another room to pack yet more entertainment in!
In the Downstairs Dance Hall (9pm-2am) we've got sounds from the likes of Sonik (Rough Trade - indie obscurities), Dubversion (People's Republic of Disco - ska/rocksteady), IanW (How Does It Feel To Be Loved - 60s heartbreak/northern soul) and Skim (Biologikal - Eclectic electronic sounds). More DJs to be announced soon.
Upstairs in the Coldharbour Cabaret Room (9-midnight) the Editor will be hosting another night of non-stop variety with Vic Lambrusco's Cabaret Hour featuring Jack (the Rushcroft Road rap-meister), SP (the bull's blood bard), Jorge (pronounced haw-hey - the manic Hispanic from surreal Madrid) and scattergun verse to challenge the senses from Yap.
There'll also be live music from the incredible Morton Valence (the sequencer-centric Brixton fourpiece have given their machines a night off to offer up a special acoustic set for Offline) and a solo set from the highly acclaimed Sergeant Buzfuz. In between acts, the Editor will keep things flowing with a post-punk lounge/cocktail DJ set.
In the new Chillout Lounge (9-2am), there'll be multimedia visuals by Moon, new ambient soundtracks and an appearance by legendary local author Martin Millar ("one of the most valuable presences on the British Literary scene" - Mail on Sunday... " undeniably brilliant" - Guardian). Martin will be reading excerpts from his award winning books. Also expect an appearance from the mysteriously reborn William Boroughs!
The Dogstar, 389, Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, London SW9
