Though I suspect you're right G, this is a time for optimism ;)

The best gigs are those that come together at the last minute - the rush of adrenalin of getting it done cannot be beaten (except by having everything set up the day before, and being able to do a dry run of the kit - but thats living in fantasyland)

Nothing can beat a group of like minded people with a single aim, so I reckon it'll come together beautifully, so long as people are ready for the inevitable problems that'll come half an hour or so into the gig...

*****, speak for youself... these days I'm pretty used to having about an hour to rig and setup a whole gig with maybe 2 people working on it. Just gotta know your shit, and know your plan of attack ahead of time. (it's when the plan gets fucked 5 min before doors because something the promoter told you is completely wrong, that things get hairy)
