This has got to be the best night of the year for me. Anybody else into mixing dark content? i just got a copy of guinea pig on dvd :)

yeah, things are generally hard and dark around this neck of the woods....especially the Drop Bass shows...and yes, halloween is the best time of year to go "all the way" :)

We're doing a halloween special at one of the nights we do. Its a hip-hop night with a party atmosphere so we're planning on scratching up a lot of cheesy horror b-movies and vampires...

It won't be dark exactly, but it should be a lot of fun.

I'm all for "Coffin Joe" flicks. Jose Mojica Marins made movies starting in the 60s about a sadistic undertaker named "Coffin Joe" starring himself. As they went on, they became increasingly psychedelic and pornographic.
If you get the ones on DVD, they look MUCH better, but the "Hallucinations of a Deranged Mind" video from Something Weird Video is a compilation of all the scenes that were too gruesome or too tripped out for the Brazilian censors.

dark content it is. I can't wait because this will be my first halloween mixing. I've often thought I should try to hit up all the goth clubs since my material is so macarbe, which should not be confused with gory or sick.
