SVid port on ViewSonic 17EA

I have just aquired a ViewSonic 17EA-1M VGA moniter.
Noticed there is an Svideo port on the back of it!
Just tried running it out to a video moniter to see if it was an output, doesn't appear to be. Tried 640x480,600x800, 1024x768...
A cursory search online revealed nothing.

Anyone familiar with this moniter and what the hell the SVid port on the back is for?!?

Its prolly not S-video, it prolly that mac standard... check the article about mac/s-vid cables on the front page of VJC :)
