I'm looking at moving to Aichi for a job at the world expo as a video tech I was wondering if there is a good Vj scene there?

yes there is in the major cities

Tokyo has a pretty good VJ scene. You can mention the term "VJ" to most of the younger generations from Japan and they'll know you are talking about someone who mixes visual. Quite a different situation than we have in the states.

Yes, it would be awesome to do some gig in Japan, they are so VJ-aware that it's "scary" :)
